libasound2-dev software package provides shared library for ALSA applications -- development files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libasound2-dev
libasound2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libasound2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libasound2-dev *
You will get with libasound2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
